We received our 10,000 series queen sized 100% latex mattress and it is fantastic—the first morning we woke up, I realized my hips weren't aching and my husband was surprised to find his neck not sore. We find ourselves in bed early at night and out of bed as late as possible in the morning to savor the comfort. I had put off purchasing a new mattress far too long—primarily because I wanted to save for a latex mattress and thought the price to be completely out of the realm of possibility for us. I was pleasantly surprised to see your company online, that the prices were within our range (and frankly, about the same as the cost of a quality coil mattress), and the customer service was top rate. One thing your customers may be interested in, which I didn't realize, if you own an older home with narrow stairway, or move frequently, this mattress is perfect! Because it comes in three separate layers that roll up, we had absolutely no problem getting it upstairs to the bedroom—and the frame we ordered was equally easy to move, since it consists of 6 separate pieces that are assembled—for those who have ever had to remove a second story window to install a traditional box spring and mattress, this is the mattress for you!

Dear Shaun,

It is not often that folks go out of their way to say how pleased they are with a product, person, or company. More often than not people are more prone to point out  negativities. I just want everyone considering a new Latex Mattress that Sleep EZ redefines customer service. My wife and I, like many others started out shopping locally and we agreed that we really liked the feel of Latex. We were considering a Sensa Opulence which is their top of the line mattress. I began to research mattress and quickly found out that used car salesman have a better reputation that many mattress retailers. I found that mattress retailers make the same mattress and market it using different names to keep the customer from shopping prices effectively. I also found that many of these mattress used cheap foam foundations in their Latex Mattresses to reduce cost and maximize profits.

While doing my research I found that there were two companies that consistently had rave reviews. One was FloBeds and the other Sleep EZ. Of the two I noticed that only one of the two companies offered Dunlop and Talalay Latex and that was Sleep EZ. While over researching I found that the Dunlop process of making Latex Mattresses has been around since the early 1900's and that many of those beds were still being used to this day.  Both were regarded as superior products but only Dunlop had a long term history. Couple that with my frugalness I decided I wanted the base layers to be Dunlop.

I called Sleep EZ and I got Shaun on the phone. Shaun's name was mentioned all over the internet testimonials I read. I never expected that I would be able to speak directly with the owner. After all who cares more about a business than the owner.  Shaun asked me what size we were interested in, how much I weighed, and how much my wife weighed. He also asked what type of feel we each preferred. Shaun said that based on my wife average size she would be earlier to please. Initially for me Shaun recommended a extra firm Dunlop base, a firm Dunlop middle layer, and  a medium top layer. After I mentioned that I was waking up with numb limbs Shaun quickly pointed out that I most likely had pressure points and adjusted my side firmness to a firm Dunlop base, medium Dunlop center layer, and a soft Talalay on top.

We ordered the mattress and it arrived on time. Having watched an online installation video my wife and I had the bed set up in less than 15 minutes. My wife (as Shaun said) who is 5' 6" and weighs 145 lbs absolutely loved the mattress from the very first night. Myself being an over analytical internet over loaded person was not convinced at first due to some lower back pain I experienced the first two nights. I called Shaun and Shaun said that based on the fact that I was laying on and old innerspring mattress for many years it would take about a week for my 225 lb body to adjust. Of course I did not wait a week as Shaun suggested. I called Shaun and he agreed to ship out a medium Talalay top layer. Mean time we replaced our old box springs with new Amish built foundations. Shaun was also quick to point out that a foundation and a box spring will have a very different feel. The next day I received the medium Talalay layer right on time. I liked the firmness but missed the plush feel of the soft Talalay. I decide to give it a few days and in doing so my pressure points came back. I switched around the layers a couple of different ways but in the end I ended up with exactly the combination Shaun recommend right from the beginning.

Shaun is a very knowledgeable man who truly cares about his customers. Sleep EZ sells a superior product for hundreds less than FloBeds. Shaun and I were having a conversation and somehow our Dogs came up. I told Shaun that My Golden Retriever Chase had a FCE (stroke in his spine) and it would be great if he offered a Latex Pet Bed. We talked about it and Shaun said let me see what I can do. One week later I received a 36" X 48" Pet Bed fully incased in their standard mattress cover for a very reasonable price. Chase loves that bed so much I have to carry it from the living room to our bedroom at night. He no longer moans upon rising. This is what I meant when I said in the beginning that Shaun and Sleep EZ redefine customer service. Our family including Chase would like to give a special thanks to Shaun and Sleep EZ.

I am writing you in hopes that by emailing you, you will post this message on your customer testimonials page.

  I recently purchased Sleep EZ's highest end mattress the 13,000. This bed contains four layers of latex which each are approx. three inches in height. Having slept on several types of beds I can say that my two favorite were air mattresses and latex. After reading a long and distinguished list of bad reviews about the quality and sanitary issues concerning some of the name brand air mattress companies, I extended my search to other options. At this point I ran into some reviews of Sleep EZ and Flo Beds which are both top competitors of the latex mattress industry. While many name brand companies have less than perfect records, some how both of these companies maintain impeccable standards with the BBB. After a considerable amount of research I learned that although these maybe different brands of bed, the latex that they are using comes from the same major manufacturers. This was the point which persuaded me to go with Sleep EZ as they are considerably less costly than Flo Beds.

  After the first initial week or so my wife realized her side was just to firm for her liking and we decided to exchange layers. I was prepared for the worst having dealt with more than my fair share of corporations in the past. Not only did it go quickly and painlessly, they even called to make sure they had all the proper information and to let me know that it would be shipping the following morning. After only three days wait it arrived, although we live only one state over which might account for the quick service. I could start ranting and raving about how I don't toss and turn and how I get a better nights sleep, but it wouldn't even come close to expressing how good this bed truly is. I am a Sleep EZ customer for life. Every part of my bed buying experience relating to them was exactly the opposite of what the big names do. If you want somebody who actually cares about the customer after the sale, Sleep EZ is where it's at.

It's probably been a month since we received our new bed, but as our new bed frame was only recently completed, it has only been slept on since Sunday.

Only 4 nights, and I just have to tell you how much I love our new latex bed. Just a few night, but they have been SHOLE nights of uninterrupted, deep sleep. I had no idea how much rest I had been losing over an inferior mattress. The feel of the mattress is amazing, it reminds me of floating on water- allowing my body the space to settle and buoyant enough to "hold" me. Very relaxing. We bought all 4 layers and I know we made the right decision, especially for aging baby boomer bodies, it's a gift!

Thank you so much for your help and for the PILLOWS - I didn't want in the store, but when one came free with the mattress, I tried it and now it"s my best friend! It's lighter weight than my husbands - so I wouldn't know which one it was to reorder or recommend to friends (can you tell me?) - but it's perfect for me.

From my own experience, almost anyone can build a good mattress, almost anyone can make money selling them. Very few people can assemble a personnel base that operates as well or nearly as flawless as you have.
... I have had interface so far with six people in your organization. So often in a business, the person handling one function has a tendency to diminish the value of the person in another function. It seems to me, the people in every function complement the people in other functions and appears to value the contributions of all other parts of your business. I don't know how much effort went into assembling the group you have, but very, very few small organizations could improve on yours. However it happened, you are to be complimented. Nothing appears to be a problem to your people. From Nancy, Rick, Shawn and your drivers, they know what part of the job is theirs, and they respond to the customer with a 100% spirit of "YES! we can do that," even if it must be followed with a little bit of adjustment to match the Organization's capabilities to the Customer's needs.
